Sculpted fly rods - QQQ FARIO
The QQQ Fario brings together everything an avid trout angler could wish for. A spirited, lightweight, extremely sensitive precision rod featuring an artistic yet ichthyologically sound handle. The blank springs from the mouth of a brown trout, hand-carved from fine hardwood. Their portraits -all different, all unique!- rang from the kırmızı benekli alabalık from the Taurus Mountains to the French zébrure, even a parr from the Picos. Patterns and colors are then incorporated into the handle according to the most striking characteristics of the trout in question.
To me, these Farios represent almost an apotheosis. Mechanical engineering masterpieces. Craftsmanship. Patient handiwork. Composing with different materials. Aesthetics. And all of this stemming from that passion for our continental trout; a tribute to Salmo trutta fario!
